StudioCanal has shared a brand new teaser for the upcoming family film Paddington in Peru. The film, which will see Ben Whishaw return as the voice of the iconic British bear, is the third film in the Paddington franchise and will be released in theaters in January 2025.
In Paddington in Peru Of course, the adventures of the adorable Paddington Bear continue after the beloved first two films in the series; Paddington Inside Paddington 2. As a result, Paddington and his adoptive family, the Browns, decide to visit his Aunt Lucy in Peru, who lives in a retirement home for bears. However, along the way they get lost in the Amazon rainforest. Adventure ensues when a mystery plunges them into an unexpected journey through the Amazon rainforest and mountain peaks of Peru.

Paddington in Peru
This third installment in the Paddington series has a significant change from the first two installments. Paddington will not be directed in Peru by Paul King, who helmed Paddington and Paddington 2. However, he is still involved with the project as a writer. Dougal Wilson takes over from him and also makes his directorial debut. Even Sally Hawkins, who played Mary Brown in the previous film, will not return. Her role was taken over by Emily Mortimer. Hugh Bonneville is back at the party, with Ben Whishaw once again voicing Paddington. The cast includes Antonio Banderas, Olivia Colman, Madeleine Harris, Samuel Joslyn, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Carla Douce and Imelda Stanton as Aunt Lucy.
