NJ School Closures, Delayed Openings, Schedule Changes Due to Snow Monday (02/01/2021)

New Jersey Districts Call for Monday School Closures, Late Opening and Other Schedule Changes The big winter storm is expected to bring two feet of snow To a significant part of the state.

Hundreds of districts continue to offer distance classes Corona virus Schools operating under explosive, person and hybrid models may shift to more distant classes rather than cancel school altogether.

But due to the high wind and large snowfall in the forecast, power outages are likely to occur.

The National Weather Service Holds almost the entire state under one Winter storm warning 2 to 4 inches of snow is expected on Sunday. On Monday the snow will be intense, with some areas up to 3 inches. Snow will continue on Tuesday, bringing total accumulations of up to 2 feet to the northern part of the state.

School districts in the following districts have issued notices of schedule changes (these lists will be updated by storm):

Middlesex County
