Index – Culture – The theme song for the new Something America series has been released
The theme song of the new series directed by Gabor Herendi based on the Something America movies was released on Monday evening.
A few days ago, we wrote about the return of Something America in a completely new version after 5 years. Gabor Herendi – director of the cult films of 2002, 2008 and 2018 – dreamed up a series inspired by the trilogy for RTL+.
We are not leading in this series and are not going to push the cart, but the youngsters will come and that will be great
Gyozo Szabo said that Beatrix Trill, Mark Ember and Daniel Crawley will star in the series.
On Monday night, the series’ theme song, “Valami America,” sung by young artist Azahria, debuted on YouTube — and not just with the refreshed cast that Kyoso Sabo mentioned.
The Something America films are among the most watched works of the post-regime era. Despite this, creator Gabor Herendi spoke on Index Sunday Brunch last fall about how he doesn’t get many opportunities these days because he “doesn’t fit in.”
“Coffee fanatic. Friendly zombie aficionado. Devoted pop culture practitioner. Evil travel advocate. Typical organizer.”
