Harry Snyders begins talking about his mother's cardiac arrest: 'She just died' | RTL Street

In the fourth episode of Special Forces VIPS, recruits come together for an in-depth conversation. Staff want to hear all their personal stories, and although Harry Snyders (27) is usually a closed book, now he's revealing his own.

“People only see the social media personality.”

Night fell, and the celebrities participating in the program faced another difficult day. They come together to have a good conversation. Employee Eric wants to see more openness and asks Harry: “And what should we know about you, Number 11?”

It's usually hard for Harry to open up, but today he's changing that. He starts talking openly about his family. Harry comes from a large, powerful family, but in 2013 his world turns upside down when his mother suffers a heart attack. “She just died,” he explains.

After more than twenty minutes of resuscitation, the patient was finally able to regain heart rhythm. “In the end, she mentally returned completely to normal, but she was completely paralyzed from the stomach down,” he added. Doctors indicate that Harry's mother will not be able to walk again. “Then my mother said, ‘Just be careful.’” After three years of rehabilitation, his mother exceeded all expectations and was able to walk independently again.

Due to the intense events, Harry kept many things to himself and now has to learn to share his feelings. Harry often hears from people that he is a closed book. “People only see this number on social media or on TV or in the city.”
