The Jelies family from “Een Huis Vol” enjoyed a well-deserved holiday in the Netherlands, but are now back home in Spain. Unfortunately, the family is not complete: mother Janneke writes that they were forced to leave their daughter Jenny behind in the Netherlands.

“We intend to plan better next time.”

The family has been living in Spain for a year, but had to say goodbye to their daughters Jenny and Aida a while ago. The girls were unable to settle down in Spain, so they are temporarily living with the family in the Netherlands, where they work at Urkerboot. The Jeliesjes apparently visited the boat during their vacation in the Netherlands and are now on their way home again. But not with the whole family.

Janicki writes that they have been very busy lately. We still have people we haven’t even been able to visit. But we know it’s good. Our goal is to plan better next time.

The intention was actually for Jenny and Aida to go home again, but that didn’t work out. Aida went back to Spain, while Jenny will continue to work in the Netherlands for a while. According to Janicki, this was a request from the girls’ employer. “This question was asked because Aida and her friends came with us to Spain. So they are very busy on the boat. Fortunately, Jenny doesn’t mind this. Although she said this morning that she is very much looking forward to going back to Spain,” Janicki said.
