Last month, the band announced that Josh Freese had become their new drummer during the live shows. Hermann Schwermans of Belgian band Rock Werchter also hinted at the arrival of Dave Grohl and his men during an interview with Stoppro on Friday. “The Foo Fighters couldn’t replace Stromae this year. But sometimes you have to leave things for a year to get better.”
The band is headlining the US tour this year, but have two exclusive European shows with performances at the Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park (Germany). At the beginning of June, the new album, But Here We Are, was released. The album is dedicated to Virginia, the late mother of Hawkins and Grohl, who passed away five months later.
