Feyenoord do business with partner clubs in the US and have a talented striker

Feyenoord confirmed the arrival of attacker Korede Osundina on Wednesday. The nineteen-year-old American comes from Rotterdam from the team’s partner club Orange County SC. USA’s talented youth international has signed a three-season deal.

Osundina grew up in Washington and played six seasons with the Crossfire Premier. In the summer of 2020, he moved to the Barça Residency Academy, part of the LaLiga superpower. After that, Osundina was under contract with Orange County, which plays in the second tier of the United States. Feyenoord has had a partnership with that club since February of this calendar year.

“For me, it’s a dream come true to sign a contract with a big historical club like Feyenoord,” Osundina told the current national champion’s website about his transfer. “I describe myself as a fast attacking player who likes to score goals. My goal here is to become a better player and I think Feyenoord can help me do that.”

Marc Ruyl, head of global football at Feyenoord, is delighted with the acquisition. “Corede is a multifunctional attacker who has already played two seasons in the first team of Orange County SC at his young age. He is also part of the US national youth selections. With his speed, strength and goal-orientation, he will continue to develop under our wings and in his career. We are confident that we can take the next steps.”
