FC Emin has secured the services of Fernando Pacheco for the upcoming season. The 23-year-old striker is on lease from Sporting Crystal for one season.
Pacheco left Sporting Cristal, where he enjoyed a lot of youth academy, in 2020 on an adventure with Fluminense and Juventus in Brazil. In January 2022, he returned to Sporting Crystal Club. He is also a constant force in the national youth teams of Peru.
President Ronald Lubbers is delighted with the arrival of the Peruvian: “With Fernando, we are hiring an excellent player for our club. He has already proven himself as a winger in South America and we are convinced that he can do the same with us at Airdives.”
Apply for Fernando’s work permit. On average, this process takes 20 days. For now, he’s still a coach at Club Sporting Cristal and is likely to travel to the Netherlands over the next week.
Ronald Lubbers, president of FC Emin, got to know Pacheco two months ago when he visited Lima, at the invitation of agent Miguel Araujo. In the winter of the 2020/2021 season, the Lubbers also tried to bring Pacheco to Emmen, but at that time Fluminense did not want to cooperate.
