Kate Middleton (42 years old) appeared on the new cover of Tatler magazine. The painted portrait is a tribute to the Duchess’s courage and dignity, but fans aren’t entirely happy with the artwork.
“If you weren’t wearing that dress, I wouldn’t have any idea who would.”
Many fans were shocked by the drawn photo of Kate on the cover of the new issue of the magazine Tatler Situations. The artwork, by British-Zambian artist Hannah Ozor, is said to not resemble the Duchess at all, according to fans.
Through the painting, Hannah wanted to show Kate’s “strength and courage” after she was diagnosed with cancer. The image was inspired by the first official banquet of the King’s government in 2022 during the state visit to South Africa.

Despite good intentions, the painting was not received favorably. Therefore, he receives a lot of criticism. “She doesn’t look like Catherine at all,” one person wrote. If she didn’t wear that dress, I would have no idea who would wear it.” Another fan also explained that he didn’t think the painting was a huge effort. “I know art is subjective, but it doesn’t look like the Princess of Wales at all.”
The artist says she was inspired by the video Kate shared about her cancer diagnosis. “All my photographs are made up of layers of character, based on everything I can find about her,” she previously said.
