Economic business visit to California and Texas by the royal couple
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima made an economic working visit to California and Texas in the United States. The visit will take place from Tuesday 6 September to Friday 9 September at San Francisco Silicon Valley (California), Austin and Houston (Texas).
Excellent relations with California and Texas
The working visit confirms the excellent economic relations between the Netherlands, California and Texas. During the visit, transatlantic cooperation, climate change, energy transition and healthcare will be central.
Many ministers join us
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima are accompanied during their visit by Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Schreinmacher. The Minister of Health, Welfare and Sports Kuipers, Minister of Education, Culture and Science Dijkgraf, Minister of Economic Development of Curaçao Chigentje and Minister of State Heijnen at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management will participate in the visit.
Parallel to the working visit, the company’s mission to San Francisco and Los Angeles will take place with companies and knowledge organizations from the life sciences, health, urban mobility and cycling sectors.
