Dutch shot put champion Maud Visscher launches fundraising campaign to train in USA and participate in World Cup – Eemskrant.nl

Holvierde – Athlete Maud Visscher from Holwierde has already achieved impressive feats in her sporting career. With several Dutch championships in the shot put and medals in the national championships in the discus and hammer throw, she has demonstrated her talent and determination. Now Maud is aiming for new heights in athletics and has been given the opportunity to train under a coach in the US. However, the costs involved are significant.

To make her dreams come true, Maud has launched a fundraising campaign on the GoFundMe site. He explains: “In the meantime, I am working on new goals, including the WKU20 in Lima. I have a lot of expenses to pay myself. Due to my busy training schedule and study hours, I don't have time to work.

The campaign aims to raise €5,750. This money will be used for training costs, travel expenses, supplies, registration fees and airfare to the US. Maude is counting on the support of the community to achieve her ambitious goals in athletics.
