Young people between the ages of 11 and 15 can learn about different sports during the Easter holidays during a sports camp for teenagers organized by the municipality’s sports department from Tuesday 11 to Friday 14 April.
The sports camp takes place in the sports center on the Sportweg behind the Stabroek town hall. You will learn about two sports every day. In the morning there is always a different sport for an hour. It could be bumper ball or taekwondo, for example. In the afternoon you leave by bus to the ski slope in Holland. Both beginners and advanced are welcome. Every day you get two hours of ski lessons, then half an hour of free skiing. The bus will drop you off daily at 11:30am at the Moorland Room car park. The day ends at 4 pm. Participants serve their own lunch. You can also bring ski clothes, gloves and ID. Ski helmet provided for free. You can register online via I-active. If you do not have a login yet, you must register first. If you don’t succeed, you can contact Stabroek’s sports department.
