Claudia de Brij and her wife Jessica Van Geel welcome Ukrainian refugees into their home in Utrecht. It talks about a mother and her son who suffer from cancer.

De Brig says she’s been “in sort of a bubble” since the two joined. “It reminds you of once you had a baby. And then you think all the time, ‘Have you arranged this, you arranged that? We should go to the hospital tomorrow, and then I guess, do they really have salt in the attic – which we turned into some kind of apartment?’”
Du Brig also points out that communication is complex; This is mainly done via Google Translate. In addition, De Breij learns the Ukrainian language with the Duolingo language app.
