Bruni Heineke consciously chose the celibate life: “I am no longer suitable for a man in my life”

Although it had been nearly thirty years since Bruni was written out of the soap by then-producer Johan Nigenhuis, to her dismay, she is still recognizable to this day. This also pertains to Bruni’s timeless face, of which there are still very few wrinkles to be discovered at the age of 82. Despite her glamorous appearance, Bruni is held back by the ravages of time. I also noticed that I am getting older. Sometimes it makes me a little angry. Like: Damn, you used to be able to do that! I’ve learned to tell myself: No, you can’t do that anymore. just sitting. Then it’s fifteen minutes. Example: I can no longer walk in high heels. I can stand on it. So I have to hand that over…”

Being alone at home

It was a conscious choice for Bruni not to have children. “I never had kids. I always worked hard, had to go on stage every night. I didn’t have the desire to have kids. My niece’s kids are about 10, 11, 12. Then I love them. But I don’t like kids.” I love them, but no more than that. When Bruni comes home after a day of filming or a day of volunteering, only foster cat Bertje is there to welcome her. I don’t have a partner. On the one hand, it’s unfortunate, but on the other hand, too. Better.I’m no longer fit for a man in my life.I’m happy with my life and I enjoy going to the theater or a concert with someone. But then I just want to be alone.I enjoy being alone at home.
