Body found in search for missing Briton Jay Slater | RTL News
The last active search for Slater was in late June by police and a group of volunteers, also near the final location of the body. To ensure the safety of the search, no searches were conducted near the valleys in the mountainous, cactus-filled area of the Rural de Teno National Park near Masca.
The body was eventually found in an impenetrable area where no search had been conducted in late June. According to police, there was a high probability that the boy had fallen, making the search extremely difficult.
LBT Global, a British organisation specialising in helping families of missing persons, is requesting privacy on behalf of Slater’s family while they wait for the body to be identified.
