American businessman Bill Foley completes the takeover of Bournemouth

American businessman Bill Foley has completed the takeover of Bournemouth after the Premier League ratified the deal. The club announced this on Tuesday.

Maxim Demin sold all his shares to Foley’s Black Knight Football Club. Demin has owned Bournemouth for 11 years. He saw the club rise from League One to the highest level.

Foley will become chairman of the current No. 14 club in the Premier League. He is the founder and owner of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights.
