It's clear that Delfina has committed herself one hundred percent to her role as Máxima. In the video below you can see that she struggles a little with pronouncing the Dutch words:
“For Spanish, it's a completely different language, the sounds are different,” she explains. “How you use your tongue, everything. It's a real challenge.” In particular, the words “appearance”, “disappearance” and “support” seem a bit difficult for the actress. However, they can all laugh behind the scenes, including Delfina herself.
Despite the high level of difficulty, the actress believes that Dutch is a “beautiful language.” “I would like to talk.” Fortunately, she has great support from her new friend and co-star Martin Lakmeyer, who plays Willem-Alexander. “I think it would have been impossible to do it without Martine. It's teamwork. It's very important that I feel like I have someone supporting me.”
The Argentine actress admits that she sometimes feels insecure. Especially since it is so far from home. “I think it's really important to have a partner and a friend who is there for you and supports you,” she says of Martine. Watch the video here in which both actors talk about the moment the spark ignited.
