To save the boy, emergency services had to attach harnesses to the bridge until they could descend and retrieve the teenager. The boy was taken to the hospital after the rescue operation. He was still being examined here, but the boy only suffered a few abrasions on his arms.
Reeb told the American news channel that between five and seven people fall from the bridge every year, and the majority of them die.
