It’s a beautiful day today, says meteorologist Majdal Erasmus of Boyenradar. Enjoy it for a moment, because: “Tomorrow will be disappointing.”
It’s okay to wear shorts today, or go for a walk in the sun or ride a bike for a while, there’s nothing wrong with that. But things change again tonight. “There’s a thunderstorm coming, not as bad as last week, but it’s still going on,” says Erasmus.
Rain and wind tomorrow
With that thunderstorm, cold air is moving into our country, which also means a less warm — and especially wetter — Tuesday. “It will still be dry in most places in the morning, but you can eventually expect some rain to come in all over the country.”
There are also strong winds. “Along the coast the wind force can reach 7.”
Friday is the most beautiful day
But then it gets better. Wednesday will be very nice with scattered rain and an average of 23 degrees, Thursday will be around 25 degrees and Friday 27 degrees on average. For the people of South Limburg the temperature is 30 degrees. Erasmus: “It will be tropical warm on Friday.”
Weekend then? Will the uptrend continue? The answer is no. “It will still be warm on Saturday, but the volatility is also increasing. It will be a little less warm on Sunday.”
