During the Ubisoft Forward showcase, viewers enjoyed extensive gameplay footage of Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Gameplay footage shows Yasuke – one of the main playable characters – walking through the streets of a Japanese village. A sword fight with several enemies soon follows. Later in the gameplay video, you can see how Naeo – the other main playable character – accompanies him. This is followed by an extensive hidden section with the final character.
Yesterday during the Xbox Games Show A shorter trailer containing the first gameplay footage has already been shownbut during tonight’s Ubisoft Forward showcase, more time was spent on the game.
As mentioned, Assassin’s Creed Shadows revolves around two characters, the Japanese shinobi Naeo and the samurai Yasuke. Players can select who to play with and switch between them during the game. In the game, players visit 16th-century Japan and follow the story of the two characters mentioned above. The game takes place during the Sengoku period, a period that witnessed wars and internal crises in Japan.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be released on November 15 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series
