OnePlus releases Android 11 upgrade for OnePlus 6 and 6T smartphones – Tablets & Phones – News

OnePlus has started rolling out Android 11 for the OnePlus 6 and 6T. It is a stable version of OxygenOS 11, which was already available for OnePlus 7 and later smartphones.

oneplus Reports in his forum That OxygenOS 11.0.0 will gradually become available to users of OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. The company released beta versions of Android 11 for these smartphones about a month ago and released several new “Open Beta” versions of this operating system over the following weeks.

OxygenOS 11.0.0 comes with a revamped interface, among other things, thanks to the move to Android 11. Users can also expect new Game Space features, including quick answerA feature that makes it easier for users to reply to WhatsApp, Instagram or Telegram messages when playing a game. The camera app user interface has been updated and the update adds new Ambient Display features.

The update is not immediately available to all users. OnePlus is gradually releasing the update to users. In this way the company hopes to be able to intervene in time should any problems arise. in March OnePlus released an upgrade to Android 11 for OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro smartphones and OnePlus 7 devices also received an upgrade to this Android version. OnePlus 5 and 5T users will not get an upgrade to this Android version.
