More than 1500 descendants
Alvin 469, 16, was born in Janthuizen in 2008 by Berend and Lütske Brewer as Alvin PL (Felle 422 x Djerg 328) and is sired by Stötterij Pommelstein, Explodati Stötterij Hemrik and Bro. Owned by Bividen. at Neuve Huvel in Lünteren. In 2022 he received priority status.
Crowd favorite Alvin 469's traits are impressive: he has more than 1,500 progeny, including 192 sire mares, good for a sire percentage of 67%. Seven daughters became models, 30 croon, he produced 23 sport horses, one sport elite horse and 19 horses achieved AAA forecast.
three stepsons, three grandsons
With Tide 501 and – HK Champion – Jeppe 537, Alvin leaves behind 469 talented and recognized sons in the Netherlands, and the son Detmer 519 is doing well in Mexico. In addition, Alvin 469 now has three hard-working grandsons: Hillbrand 525 and a pair of the youngest group of studbook stallions: Nyk 538 and Martinez 539, Reserve Champion at HK 2024.
Shine at the anniversary event
Alvin 469 was still there at the last Stallion Inspection 2024 and – almost naturally – he managed to secure a place in the Champion Inspection. He was also the trendsetter at the anniversary show for three evenings.
