Sophie Van Hockey

Professor Sophie van Hooke is affiliated with Ghent University. She specializes in semantic intelligence at IDLab. Her research focuses on integrating machine learning and semantic technologies applied in healthcare. After her studies in computer science, she obtained a PhD in computer science on the subject of effective service management in healthcare. After working as a postdoctoral research engineer, she became a lecturer and ICT research coordinator at the West Flanders University of Applied Sciences.

Nicola Vandenbosch

doctor. Nicholas Vandenbosch is a neurologist at the Department of Neurology at Ghent University Hospital. His academic clinical specialty is in the field of primary and secondary headache disorders. After specializing in neurology, he went to King's College London for 15 months in 2017 to do a fellowship in headache disorders under the supervision of Prof. Peter Goadsby. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Vandenbussche New digital and technological solutions for the diagnosis and monitoring of headache disorders.
