The as-yet unannounced Intel Core i9-13900KS achieves a thermal overclock of 6GHz, according to an online roadmap. The current flagship i9-13900K processor has a maximum boost speed of 5.8GHz in this performance mode.
The “normal” boost clock speed also goes according to the posted roadmap by 9550proup slightly from 5.7GHz in Turbo Boost Max 3.0 with Normal 13900 k to 5.8GHz with the alleged KS variant. These increased speeds seem to have no effect on the maximum tdp, as it remains at 253W.
The base clock frequency of the P-cores will also be slightly increased for the upcoming model, i.e. 3.2 instead of 3GHz. This ensures an increase in base power consumption compared to the current flagship, from 125 to 150 watts.
All other specifications remain the same as per the claimed roadmap. The ratio of 24 cores remains the same, these are 8 performance cores and 16 electronic cores. There will also be 32 threads in the processor again.
Benchleaks Publishing in addition to Geekbench benchmark results from i9-13900KS. A comparison of Intel’s flagship K and KS variant shows that the upcoming processor scores about 3 and 8 percent higher, respectively, in terms of single-core and multi-core performance.
