Rockstar Games revealed in a blog post that the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and S versions of Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online will get three graphics modes. In addition, the company is showing the first screenshots of the upcoming releases of the games.
Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online can be played on current-generation consoles with three graphics presets, Fidelity, Performance and Performance RT mode. at Blog post explaining Rockstar Fidelity mode aims for 30fps at 4k resolution. In this mode, ray tracing is enabled and fit for games All other new graphics settings to. Performance mode upgrades GTA V and GTA Online from 1080p to 4K. This mode ignores ray tracing and should be fine for 60fps with a resolution of 4K. Additionally, at the time of writing, GTA V players will be able to start transferring their story mode to the Rockstar Games Social Club servers. The latest version of Grand Theft Auto V allows players to choose the option to load and save the game from the game menu. Everyone can only upload one save file per platform and this file will be available for 90 days.
GTA Online has a slightly different migration process as players simply need to boot into the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X or S version of the game starting March 15th. When you log into a current-generation console, all characters, assets, vehicles, GTA$, and all other aspects of progression are transferred. This can only be done once and cannot be undone. Account transfer works between both Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Users who buy GTA$ for real money will lose in-game money if they switch from Xbox One to PlayStation 5 or from PlayStation 4 to Xbox Series X or S.
