DORDRECHT – Starting on November 24, 650 students from groups 5 and 6 of elementary school will visit the multimedia theater installation “My Home, the Rest of the World and Beyond” during the two-week “List of Culture”. For many primary school students in Dordrecht, this educational project is a first introduction to art and culture. During the installation, children experience stories about the universe, the deepest seas and within the globe and are stimulated to imagine the unknown and about topics without limits. Without imagination and imagination there is no science and innovation.
Animation, video presentation, interviews and music
This installation is by stage maker Judith Knapp. “My House and the Rest of the World and Beyond” from four years of research with children and scientists. I have collected and created the creativity of children and scientists in animation, video presentations, interviews, music and more. Its job is to invite visitors to doubt what is called certainty, and to embrace the (un)real and (unlikely)”, says the theater maker.
It is also free to visit for everyone from the age of 8 years and above
The exciting “show” with stunning images and audio is fun for adults and children from 8 years old and is open to everyone on Saturday 27 November and Saturday 11 December at Ketel 1 of the Energiehuis at 14:00 and 15:00. Tickets are available at kunstmin.nl.
