In some slightly surprising news, it was a day for cuts in the NFL.
So Adrian Peterson, Jamaal Charles and Darrelle Revis are all of a sudden free agents.

And two marquee names highlight the list of the released and new free agents. First, Adrian Peterson. That’s right, the Vikings have released the All-Pro and best back in the NFL over the last few seasons.

Peterson is now free to test the market, and looks like he won’t be heading back to Minnesota at any point.
Cowboys are expected to pursue Adrian Peterson. Jerry Jones wants to pair AP and Zeke up.

And the other surprising name: Jamal Charles. The Chiefs announced the release of Charles in a quick way, and dumping him into the free agency pool is interesting.

Charles has been oft-injured in recent years, but when healthy is one of the best in the league. We’ll see who gets lucky with these two.
