Workshop March 30, 2023 – Nemo Kineslink

During The Game of Change, we investigate in collaboration with Daniel Arets (Responsible Innovation and Journalism Lecturer) and Jesse Harms (Policy Officer on Climate Convention Consultation Progress and SER) how we can make our environment more sustainable, safer and greener. How can we adapt our towns, cities and communities to the changing climate. The game explores the possibilities of making living environments adaptable to climate and important topics in this regard.

The future scenarios dealt with in this game are reflected in the installation Explore the Future Tomorrow’s project. Future Scenarios was developed by Jesse Harms, among others.

About Daniel Aretz and Jesse Harms

Danielle Aretes focuses on research and debate on the links between design and science. Danielle is an Associate Lecturer in Strategic Creativity at Design Academy Eindhoven and an independent design researcher and moderator. Focuses on the intelligent connection between knowledge and culture. She also organizes debates, writes popular science publications, and facilitates discussions.

Jessie Harms is committed to limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees and is accelerating the transition to a climate-neutral, inclusive of nature and social Netherlands. Its expertise mainly lies in the acceleration of energy transmission.


Reserve your ticket for Thursday evening’s activity Connected. The activity includes visiting the exhibition Energy junkies.

The game starts at 8 pm and lasts about two hours. Before the activity, you can visit the exhibition from 19:00 Energy junkies visits.

Nemo studio is an additional site for the NEMO Science Museum on the Marineterrein in Amsterdam. Programming is especially for adults.

Activities in De Studio at NEMO

Every Thursday evening, NEMO organizes a bonus activity at De Studio on the Marineterrein in Amsterdam. Especially for adults. Workshops, lectures and dialogues address the topic of energy and climate and are in line with the theme of the exhibition Energy junkies. View the full programme
