Ubisoft will provide its own subscription service for Xbox consoles. Ubisoft+ is currently available for PC and some cloud streaming services. Rainbow Six: Extraction will also be available at launch via an Xbox Game Pass subscription.
You write the game company The Ubisoft+ subscription service will be available “in the future” for Xbox users, but it hasn’t said a specific release date yet. It’s not clear what the service will cost on Xbox. A PC subscription costs 15 euros per month, and a Ubisoft + for PC and Stadia subscription costs an additional three euros.
Through Ubisoft+, the company provides access to all the games it releases. The service was initially known as Uplay+, but Renamed in 2020 to Ubisoft+ and released simultaneously for Google Stadia and Amazon Luna. Incidentally, Ubisoft+ won’t be the first third-party subscription service released for Xbox. Electronic Arts previously made EA Play available for Xbox and PlayStation and later added the service to Xbox Game Pass.
It seems that Ubisoft does not do the latter; The company is only indicating that it will offer its Ubisoft+ subscription to Xbox users. Ubisoft has announced that Rainbow Six: Extraction will be added to your Xbox Game Pass subscription upon release. This applies to both Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass for PC. The game will be released on January 20th.
