KWPN’s nine-year-old horse Turfhorst jersey Vivaldi x Ferro was sold to America. Eric Koele from Stoeterij Turfhorst just announced this on Facebook. Jersey has been successful in the sport under his regular rider Kimberly Babb. One of the highlights was their participation in the World Young Dressage Championships in 2021.

Jersey, who is family-approved by the KWPN Wetzelaer family, was purchased as a three-year-old Stud Farm Turfhorst. At the time, the stallion was the auctioneer of the KWPN Select Sale for €160,000. In 2017, Jersey was approved with a score of 82.5 for the Performance Examination. Among other things, he scored 9 for flexibility.

Under Kimberly Babb, Jersey ran a successful stallion competition and progressed to junior tour level. A highlight of the event is the Young Dressage World Championships in 2021. The pair made it to the final for seven-year-olds by winning the minor final and finishing 14th.

Eric Coyle wrote on Facebook: “We wish the new owners a lot of fun and success with this wonderful stallion. Thank you Jersey!!!”
