Trump smoothes out wrinkles with May
US President Donald Trump is in Davos to attend the World Economic Forum. There he spoke with British Prime Minister Theresa May, among others.
The relationship between Trump and May came under pressure after the US President rejected an invitation to visit London to open the new US embassy.
These wrinkles appear to have been resolved at the World Economic Forum. Trump said in a tweet: “A wonderful bilateral meeting with UK Prime Minister Theresa May, underscores our special relationship and commitment to working together to address important national security challenges and economic opportunities.”
According to Reuters news agency, Trump intends to visit Britain this year after the meeting.
