Three new frozen vegetables were introduced in the US

Green Giant, known for vegetables for families, has introduced three new product categories: Green Giant Restaurant Style Side Dishes, Green Giant Zucchini Tats and Green Giant Veggie Spiral Skillets to its growing portfolio of frozen side dishes and meals. All three lines will hit the freezer aisle of select retailers in the US this month.

“The success of our Veggie Swap-Ins line proves that consumers are always looking for creative new ways to prepare and eat their vegetables,” said Kristen Thompson of Frozen & Vegetables and B&G Foods. “We’re using our innovations to help chefs prepare delicious, restaurant-quality vegetable-based meals and side dishes at home, more convenient and delicious than ever before.”

The cornerstone is Green Giant Restaurant Style Side Dishes, vegetable-based side dishes inspired by America’s favorite restaurants. Hearty vegetable chunks are topped with flavorful sauces and sautéed directly in a pot or pan for a restaurant experience at home. Four varieties: Cauliflower & Fire Roasted Onion Garlic Butter, Honey Glazed Carrot Sage Butter, Garlic Parmesan Green Beans and Teriyaki Cauliflower & Broccoli.

Green Giant Zucchini Tots are the first zucchini-based tots (cylindrical fried food) introduced by the brand. With Zucchini as the main ingredient, these totes are available in Parmesan Cheese, Sour Cream & Onion and Pizza variants. They can be eaten as a side dish, snack or appetizer and are perfect for use in air fryers.

In addition to the new products, Green Giant is expanding its Green Giant Veggie Spirals line with the introduction of Green Giant Veggie Spiral Skillets. Chef’s sauces combine with zucchini veggie rolls and crunchy veggies to create this perfect side dish or appetizer that cooks up in minutes in the skillet or microwave. Three types; Marinara, teriyaki, and garlic basil give this classic favorite a fresh, flavorful twist.
