‘The Lord of the Rings’ from Amazon is making a comeback

It’s no surprise that Amazon is trying to acquire Shore. His musical contributions to Jackson’s films were an important part of what made them so successful. Just look at the three Academy Awards he won in the trilogy. Then Shore also collaborated on a file the hobbit-Films.

So now it’s starting to look like Shore is back in the JRR Tolkien fantasy world again. Deadline indicates that the composer is in talks to compose the music for the upcoming prequel series.

Season 1 of Lord of the rings, which was said to have cost a record $465 million, will be available on Prime Video from September 2, 2022.

Since the TV series seems to share a bit of DNA with the Jackson movies, the re-Shore is a great way to get movie fans on board. Furthermore, Amazon had to act now that production of the series had been moved from New Zealand to the United Kingdom.
