Role
In this versatile position, you will work as a Senior Healthcare Psychologist at Ruessing Rehabilitation Center.
You contribute to the development, management and coordination of the multidisciplinary treatment policy in the pain department. As an intrinsic expert, you make an important contribution to the psychological models that form the basis of interdisciplinary therapies. In addition, as an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology, Health and Technology at the University of Twente (UT), you conduct research in the care of chronic pain patients and the use of technology in positive psychological interventions in chronic conditions. Roessingh Research & Development (RRD), a Roessingh research institution, is conducting research with the University of Twente to improve performance and social participation for people with physical or cognitive disabilities using technology. In the field of chronic pain, RRD works with the Department of Psychology, Health and Technology at the University of Twente. This department conducts research and uses psychological knowledge to design and evaluate technological innovations, such as e-health and applications, that contribute to well-being, health and personal care.

We are looking for

BIG PhD registered at GZ or Clinical Psychologist with an affinity and interest in scientific research in the field of Positive Psychology and Technology. Have sufficient research and publication experience to work at UD or Associate Professor level. You have leadership qualities, a clear vision of chronic pain, and know how to translate that into treatment policy. You have a relevant national (international) network and you know how to strengthen it further. For this position, it is important that you, as a therapist, have knowledge of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
