PhD candidate Vincent Coman wants everyone to be connected to quantum. How does he do that? With a pop-up quantum exhibition at the local library and at Lowlands Science. He talks about it in Leidsch Dagblad and New Scientist.
The exhibition comes from the University of Waterloo in Canada. Julia Kremer, head of the Quantum and Society research group, with whom Coman is doing his PhD, visited the exhibition there. It consists of a number of different panels and interactive elements. “It was gathering dust there for a bit and then Julia had the idea to bring it to the Netherlands,” Coman said. “We hope that the exhibition will increase interest in quantum, and that people will want to delve deeper into it.”

It is very interesting to see how this affects the results.
