Roxanne Hazes and two former business associates of her mother, Rachel Hazes, must testify Thursday in a case involving power of attorney in Rachel's name. Witness hearings are scheduled to take place Thursday morning at the court in Amsterdam.
The case between Rachel, on the one hand, and Roxanne and former business partners, Marek van Beek and Rob Israel, on the other, has been going on for a long time. It is about the power of attorney that Rachel gave to Van Beek and Israel in 2016 when she was not feeling well due to a breakdown.
Roxanne will also know more details about this. Rachel claims her interests were not properly represented at the time.
Previously, the judge ruled that Rachel was only allowed to hear from her daughter and former business partners over a €24,000 bill for a training programme. Rachel is appealing this decision, because she also wants clarity on other choices made on her behalf years ago.
Roxanne has indicated several times that she does not want to testify in this case. The mother and daughter had a bad relationship with each other for years. There is also another issue going on between them, related to the legacy of the late Andre Hezes Sr.
Al-Mughni narrated Dorset farm She doesn't think her relationship with her mother will ever recover. “I have to stay realistic: a lot has just happened.”
