Rush Limbaugh passed away on Wednesday 17 February. A man who can describe nothing but an icon. He was an icon of speech radio, while at the same time an icon of the American right due to his radio show ‘The Rush Limbo Show’. His show reached 25 to 30 million people weekly. For those wondering what that weird logo on his microphone means, it airs on the EIB (Excellence in Broadcasting) network.
In 1987, President Ronald Reagan won. ‘Reasonable theory‘Abolition. Before that, it was obligatory to express conflicting opinions. As a result, Limbaugh could begin its show in July 1988. The show has seemed a bit unfocused in recent episodes, however;
Limbaugh changed the radio, but also kept the business. In the United States, when people often travel some distance, Limbaugh made sure to keep listening to the long-running AM band with his radio show. Although he can be heard on various FM stations. His show aired on a total of about 600 radio stations. It was 12 noon to 3 pm on the east coast and 9 to 12 pm on the west coast. Due to the excellent appeal of his show, his 3 hour (!) Performance is very popular.
He was a good presenter. Funny, well-prepared, generally intelligent. He also had some guests, and Limbaugh just commented for three hours on politics in the United States. A listener is invariably called in with a question, and Limbaugh discusses the question. Presidents came at times. I’m definitely talking about Republican leaders, Bush Sr., Bush Jr. and Trump. Their democratic counterparts were constantly filled.
When I traveled across the United States, I dared to listen too. I have to say it was a sweet, energetic show. But most of all I remember a woman from Mississippi talking about Limbaugh with that happy southern accent. ‘Rush was talking about it yesterday. ‘His fans talked about‘ Rush ’because Limbaugh was a part of their family for many Americans.
Limbaugh was neither a political guide nor a trend setter, he went where the conservative movement went. He was very supportive of intervening in Kuwait under George W. Bush Sr., with his big megaphone, naturally generating popular support.
At the time of Clinton, he was its supreme media genius. He also briefly produced a television show for Roger Isles (later founder of Fox News). With so many scandals surrounding Clinton, it was definitely delicious.But in 1994, he won the election of Newt Kinggris’ “Agreement with the United States” and took over as Speaker of the US House of Representatives.
He was a key supporter of President Bush Jr., who has been a frequent guest of the President, and his Vice President speaks regularly. He also actively supports interventions in the Middle East.
Under Obama, he naturally opposes and does not give up criticism. Of course he makes some controversial statements, and his producer James Golden, more about it, is the official EIB Obama critic. It has crossed its peak, but is still very important.
Limbaugh did not support Trump from the beginning, he supported Cruz, but did not abandon Trump. After that, he becomes a huge supporter of the former president. Former President Limbaugh spoke publicly for the first time since his death, calling him the “king of speech radio”. He embraced the president’s message and supported issues such as the border wall with Mexico. But Limbaugh returned when interventions in the Middle East came. Before that, he had always supported it.
Trump presented him with the Presidential Medal during his union state last year, the highest presidential award a citizen can receive.
The Conservative media is indebted to Limbaugh
Sometimes Limbaugh is a guest on Fox News, but he has no plans of his own. However, many of his disciples, such as Sean Hannity, broke with Fox. But when he was a guest, the red carpet rolled. They know they are serving the same audience. On Wednesday it was only about Rush Limbaugh on Fox News.
Current media landscape in the United States, with Fox News, but with Other channels such as The Place, OAN and many more talk shows and podcasts Rush could never have existed without Limbaugh.
Not a monk, but a villain
The reason I landed on my pen was because I still thought we had a right to a part other than vitriol in Flanders. vrt.nws Began to emerge. The fact that Limbaugh was another generation of social conservatives who did not paint the beer card of accepted ideas on social topics such as same-sex marriage or abortion does not make him a monster. The fact that he went to the margins in criticizing Obama does not make him a racist.
The producer of his show is a witness, James Golden (Bo Bo Snertley) of African American descent. Like the VRT people, the man was not gentle with those who portrayed Limbaugh as a racist. With tears in his eyes, Limbaugh called him one of the best men he knew, and made a shout out to those who slandered him with false references.
