Rare ET doll auctioned off for millions in Hollywood | show

The piece, which would have cost $1.5 million to assemble, was described at auction as an “engineering masterpiece.” The mysterious buyer had to dig deep into his pockets: the doll was sold for $ 2.5 million.

Drew Barrymore, who also appears in the movie, recently spoke about his own ET doll. At the time, the actress thought the model was real. “I really loved him in a deep way,” she said. “I’d like to have lunch with him.”
