I’ve seen all the trailers for this game and as others have said, I’m not quite sure what to think. The last real Pokemon I played was White, so it’s been a long time. I would really appreciate it if they change the current formula. After all, everyone has it now and then Choose starter Pokémon, beat 8 gyms, beat Team Rocket (or alternative, beat Elite 4 and become a Pokémon master pattern follows.

However, the thing that annoys me the most of all the trailers, save for the alternate JRPG embarrassment, is the graphics. The animation doesn’t look like slick, it all looks a bit empty and as we are used to we see a different style like for example in The Witcher. But in addition to that, I also think the UI scale seems too small. This is, of course, great with a game like Gran Turismo, but here it creates a more level feel. At least for me. In addition, GT allows you to adapt the interface to your style and desires, something that is often impossible with Nintendo games.

I’m very curious about the end result, because I really want to play this match. But as it appears now, I’m definitely not pre-ordering this.
