Niantic is working with Nintendo on Pikmin AR coming out later this year – Gaming – News

Pokémon Go creator Niantic has teamed up with Nintendo on several new augmented reality games. Below is Pikmin, which will be released later this year. Nothing has been announced about the other games yet.

Pikmin was created by Niantics Studio in Japan, which was founded just under two years ago. This will be the first match made by Japan’s Niantik division. Nintendo is involved in the development.

In the advertisement Niantic says Pikmin will promote outdoor walks. This indicates an AR game similar to Pokémon Go. Actual details about the game have yet to be revealed and no screenshots have been released from the game yet. The game will be released later this year Players can register For pre-registration.
