New patch should fix rain issues in GTA Remasters – Games – News

Unfortunately, all three titles in this final release have performance issues.
The frame rate can be greatly improved by forcing DirectX12.

This can be done by:

  • In Rockstar Launcher, tap Settings
  • Click on the game below My installed games
  • Bee launch arguments put it in -dx12

You can do the same by -dx12 With a space before the target to add the properties of the executable game shortcut.

The only downside to this is that after a short while there will be more and more blue decorations in places that will start to flash depending on the frame rate and possibly other factors. Then you must restart the game so that you do not have this temporarily.

I must say that with ReShade activated this effect is even worse.

This texture pack for San Andreas is done really well by the way:
Nexusmods.com – GTA SA – Modify the texture of the project Work in progress

Great details by the way, the minimum system requirements are as follows:

Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i5-6600K / AMD FX-6300
Memory: 8 GB
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 2GB / AMD Radeon R9280 3GB
Disk: 45 GB

I ran fine with 1080p, a mix of low/high settings with a frame rate of around 30-50, sometimes higher, sometimes lower depending on where you are and what’s going on:

Intel Core 2 Quad 9550 2.83 GHz.
Kingston 2x2GB DDR2-800
EVGA GTX560 1 GB SuperClocked.
Samsung 860 EVO 500GB.

I’m actually still amazed at how relatively well it runs and looks.
