Netflix declines to comment after Judi Dench criticized The Crown
Streaming service Netflix offers “no comment” on the growing criticism of its hit series The Crown. Even Dame Judi Dench, 87, one of the world’s most famous actresses, made an urgent call on Wednesday that Netflix should put out a disclaimer for the series about the British royal family.
“No one believes in artistic freedom more than me, but it cannot continue like this,” the actress continues. Netflix has already said many times the crown “Fantasy Play” and doesn’t want a disclaimer, but Jodi is hoping the streaming service will reconsider that decision. “Do it as a sign of respect for the Queen who has faithfully served her people for seventy years, and to preserve your reputation in the eyes of the British subscribers.”

Judy believes that viewers outside the UK in particular are getting a wrong picture of the British monarchy because of the series.
