Monster Hunter Rise Coming to Xbox and Playstation Consoles January 20th – Gaming – News

Originally released for the Nintendo Switch, Monster Hunter Rise will be released on January 20, 2023 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 4 and 5. The game will also become part of Xbox Game Pass and will be coming soon. for Windows, although there is already a Steam version.

Capcom Reports Xbox Series X and PS5 players can choose between 4K resolution and up to 60fps, or 1080p resolution with 120fps. In addition, the publisher writes that there is support for 3D sound. Monster Hunter Rise will be available on January 20th with all free updates up to version 10. This means that it will include monsters and event missions that were added after the game was released on Nintendo Switch and Steam. These two releases were at the end of March 2021 and January 12 of this year, respectively.

The Switch version of the RPG had been well reviewed previously and the game quickly gained popularity: within three days of its release for Switch, Monster Hunter Rise was already Delivered 4 million times. As of September 30, 2022, 11 million copies have already been delivered. The Monster Hunter franchise has been around since 2004 and at the end of September it turned out that a total of 88 million copies of Monster Hunter games had been shipped. Monster Hunter Rise was created using the RE Engine, which Capcom has previously used in several recent Resident Evil games.

Also came an expansion for Monster Hunter Rise in June called Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. It is available for Nintendo Switch and PC. According to Capcom, this expansion will also be released for Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
