In this edition of Internationalization Watcher, we provide insight into the international trade in services: how has it evolved in recent years, and what role does services play in the Dutch production and export of goods and services? What are the factors that can hinder trade in services and to what extent do companies that want to start exporting services or want to expand the export of their services face this?
The Internationalization Monitor describes internationalization trends and their consequences for the Dutch economy and society. The publication is published four times a year and is part of the CBS Globalization Development and Dissemination Program, commissioned by the Department of Foreign Affairs.
The goal of the Globalization Research Program is to gain new insights into globalization for the benefit of practice, politics, and science. The core of the approach is the integration of the diverse sources and micro-data already available, along with the application of advanced statistical methods such as I/O analysis. The results of this newly developed census and accompanying analyzes are published in the Internationalization Observatory.
