A video has been posted to Facebook and Reddit showing footage of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed mobile game. Ubisoft themselves have not yet shown any screenshots of the game called Codename Jade.
The Download the original Facebook Footage of Tiger White is no longer available, but the video was released on Saturday Posted on Reddit By user dattuu. The video, which lasts three minutes in total, begins with the player running over the Great Wall of China in the midst of a battle. The user interface and design remind us of the latest Assassin’s Creed games, especially Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The player then fights an enemy at level 40.
After the battle, the player can be seen using the zipline to get off the wall. The gameplay then switches to a cutscene without voice acting, but with sound effects that match the action in the scene. It’s possible that voice acting will be added to the game at a later date, as the footage indicates that this is an early build of the game.
September Ubisoft has it four Assassin’s Creed games announce. The first of these is MirageIt is set in Baghdad in the ninth century. The game should be released in 2023 for Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Amazon Luna.
The other three games don’t have definitive names yet, but are called Codename Red, Codename Jade, and Codename Hexe. Red will be a full Assassin’s Creed game set in feudal Japan and Jade will be a mobile game set in China. Nothing is known about Hexe in terms of content, other than that it seems to be getting a horror-like setting.
