ProRes is an Apple-developed video format in which iOS 15.1 can be recorded by default on iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, or the latest iPhone 14 equivalent. However, a variety of Apple devices can edit the file format using Sweetened Apple apps like iMovie and Final Cut Pro. The first-generation 11-inch iPad Pro, fifth-generation iPad Air, and 12.9-inch third-generation iPad Pro can handle ProRes. The new M2 iPad Pros will be the first iPads already included in the codec for high image quality.
