Lenovo will launch Legion Phone Duel 2 with two fans in May for 799 euros – tablets and phones – news

Lenovo unveiled the Legion Phone Duel 2, a gaming phone with two fans and two batteries with a total capacity of 5,500 mAh. The fans sit in the middle of the back between the batteries and cool the Snapdragon 888-soc.

In addition to Snapdragon 888 with 5G support It gets a gaming smartphone Memory from 12 GB to 18 GB and UFS 3.1 storage from 256 GB to 512 GB. The screen is a 6.92 inch screen with a resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. The 8-bit display supports HDR10 +, and it can display 111.1 percent of the DCI-P3 color space and a peak brightness of 1300cd / m².

Legion Phone Duel 2 has a pop-up selfie camera that pops up in the center of the right-hand side. This camera uses a 44MP Samsung GH1 + sensor and can record 4k videos at 60fps. The pop-up camera can also shoot at 240fps at 720p. Lenovo says it has deliberately placed this camera in the center of the right side, as that would be a good place for broadcast operators. The smartphone will receive a program for blurring selfie camera backgrounds.

On the back there are two cameras, a 64MP camera with an OmniVision OV64A sensor and a second 16MP sensor with a wide-angle lens. The phone’s rear cameras allow for recording HDR10 + videos at 4k and 30fps, or regular videos at 8k and 24fps. Slow motion is also possible at a maximum of 720p and 240fps.

These two rear cameras are also located in the middle of the phone, on the cooling block. This block contains two fans with 29 blades. The draft fan operates at a maximum of 12,500 rpm, and the draft fan operates at a maximum of 15,000 rpm. According to Lenovo, the fans produce a maximum of 27dB sound, measured at a distance of 30cm.

The cooling block is located on top of the soc, between two 2750mAh batteries. These batteries can be charged simultaneously with up to 90W using two USB-C ports. The Legion Phone Duel 2 also has two front speakers, four microphones, a fingerprint sensor, four ultrasound shoulder buttons, Android 11, dual SIM, and RGB lighting. The smartphone comes in black and white colors, measures 176 x 78.5 x 12.56 mm and weighs 259 grams. Sales will begin in “some European markets” in May.
