Jennifer Aniston praises Brad Pitt’s performance in Friends
Before Meet Friends, which airs local time in the US Thursday night, the six actors of the beloved ’90s series gave a number of interviews. Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow (aka Braachel Green), Monica Geller and Phoebe Buffay talked to Access Hollywood about the various guest stars who have appeared on the show over the years.
Reese Witherspoon appeared as Rachel’s sister Jill Green, Tom Selleck as Monica’s lover Richard Burke and two Phoebe friends, played by Charlie Sheen and Sean Penn. “Charlie and Sean were really cool, they were so hilarious,” said Kudrow, who called her on-screen husband Paul Rudd, as Mike Hannigan. “He was so much more than just a guest star.”
Jennifer Aniston described her ex-husband Brad Pitt as one of her favorite guests on the show. “Mr. Pete was wonderful.” Kudrow replied, “Yes it was!”
Pitt was seen in 2001 for the eighth season on The One With The Rumor, playing Will Colbert, Ross and Monica’s old childhood friend. His character hated Rachel, who played Aniston whom he was married at the time. He earned an Emmy nomination for his performance.
