According to the passenger enthusiastic citizen Intel has delayed the launch of the Arc desktop graphics processing units (GPUs) until the end of the second quarter, the beginning of the third. Previous rumors indicated that he would be released in May or early June. The reason for the delay is unknown, although we saw in a recent Geekbench result that video cards could use some optimization.
The leaker also shared some details about the models expected in the Arc desktop line. The series will initially consist of four cards: A770, A750, A580 and A380. The A770 should be comparable in performance to Nvidia’s RTX 3060 Ti, although there is still uncertainty about the amount of memory. The A580 is likely to come with 8GB of memory. The higher Intel Arc 9 series may be in the works as well. The information doesn’t quite match up with previous leaks, which also mentioned the A780 and A350, not the A750.
Intel itself hasn’t made much about desktop brackets. A company employee hinted in a recent Blender test video that the cards will be released this quarter. at teaser Two weeks ago, “Intel Arc A-Series Limited Edition Graphics” was mentioned as the delivery date for this summer.
