Ida’s Aftermath Destroys US East Coast: Hurricane and Flood

‘Life-threatening situation’
Hurricane warnings were in effect in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. “This is a life-threatening situation, and flying debris is deadly,” the U.S. Meteorological Service said. The hurricane is likely to make landfall in New York, however the forecasts still vary.
Meanwhile, parts of New Jersey have already received 10 to 20 inches of rain, according to CNN. State Governor Bill Murphy has declared a state of emergency in tropical storm Ida. “Don’t go out on the road, stay home and be safe,” Murphy said. According to The New York Times, at least 57,000 households in the state are without electricity.
The subway stations were flooded
